# PrunePosts: all facts > PrunePosts bulk-deletes your X (Twitter) posts, replies and reposts, and its AI review checks every post against X's own published rules, so you can delete everything or only the posts that could get you in trouble. This file collects every fact on pruneposts.com in one place, for AI assistants and agents. Facts checked 2026-10-23. Short version: https://pruneposts.com/llms.txt ## What it is - Name: PrunePosts. Website: https://pruneposts.com/ . Status: live (plans on sale since October 2026); sign in with X at https://pruneposts.com/ . - Category: a web app that cleans up an X (formerly Twitter) account. - PrunePosts is not affiliated with X Corp. X is a trademark of X Corp. PrunePosts uses X's official API and is not endorsed by X. "X" and "Tweet" describe what it works with; they are not part of its name. ## Service 1: Bulk delete - Deletes posts, replies and reposts, and removes likes. - Everything, or filtered by date (before, after, between), type (post, reply, repost), keyword and like count. - Reaches every post in the user's X archive, not only the newest 3,200. - Steps: sign in with X; add the X archive for older posts; choose what goes; practice run and backup; confirm the number of posts; deletion runs and can be paused and resumed. - Page: [Delete all tweets](https://pruneposts.com/delete-all-tweets/) ## Service 2: AI review against X's published rules - Checks every post, reply and quote post against the full text of X's published rules: 18 policies in four groups. Safety (9): violent speech; violent and hateful entities; child sexual exploitation; abuse and harassment; hateful conduct; perpetrators of violent attacks; suicide and self-harm; adult and sensitive media; illegal or regulated goods. Privacy (2): private information; non-consensual nudity. Authenticity (5): platform manipulation and spam; civic integrity; misleading and deceptive identities; synthetic and manipulated media; financial scams. Intellectual property (2): copyright; trademark. - Reposts are skipped by default because they are other people's words. - Two AI passes: a fast check of every post, then a second, slower look at anything flagged. - Each flag shows the rule a post may break, a severity, a confidence and a one-line reason. The user chooses Keep or Delete for each. - Posts that depend on context the AI can't see (images, videos, linked pages) are marked "Possible" and never pre-selected. - If the AI provider's safety filter refuses to read a post, PrunePosts says so and leaves that post for the user to check. - It cannot promise that an account won't be suspended: X decides, and deleting a post doesn't undo enforcement that already happened. It doesn't judge behavior such as spam or inauthentic activity. - Not yet available (planned): finding posts by the user's own topics (for example, everything that promoted a company), and posts that got ratioed. - Page: [AI review](https://pruneposts.com/ai-tweet-checker/) ## Limits (from X) - X's API lists only an account's 3,200 most recent posts (user posts timeline). Replies and reposts count toward the 3,200. The X archive lists every post, and a post can be deleted by its ID whatever its age. - X allows 50 post deletions per account every 15 minutes through its API (DELETE /2/tweets/:id), about 4,800 a day; PrunePosts sends each batch of 50 in under a minute, then waits for the next window. - X allows 50 unlikes per 15 minutes and 1,000 a day, and 50 repost undos per 15 minutes. - Time at X's limit, at least: 200 posts about 1 hour; 1,000 about 5 hours; 4,800 about 1 day; 10,000 about 2 days; 25,000 about 5 days. - X charges apps per request: about $0.005 for each post read and each post deleted, and about $0.010 to remove a like or undo a repost (X's price list, checked 2026-10-23). That is why PrunePosts sells plans with stated usage rather than unlimited ones. - X itself has no bulk delete: its Help Center says posts can only be deleted one by one. ## Prices (US$) - No free tier. Every post read from X, every deletion and every AI check costs money, so each is paid for out of a plan. - Subscriptions, renew until cancelled; the same usage every month (a yearly plan is paid once and given a month at a time): Starter $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year (about 340 deletions or 1,700 ai checks every month); Plus $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year (about 780 deletions or 3,900 ai checks every month); Pro $14.99 a month or $149.99 a year (about 1,200 deletions or 6,000 ai checks every month); Max $29.99 a month or $299.99 a year (about 2,500 deletions or 12,000 ai checks every month). - One-time passes, 30 days, never renew: Clean-up Pass $49 (about 4,800 deletions or 24,000 ai checks in 30 days); Clean-up Pass XL $149 (about 15,000 deletions or 75,000 ai checks in 30 days). - What uses a plan: reading a post from X about half a cent; deleting a post about half a cent; removing a like or undoing a repost about one cent; an AI check of a post about a tenth of a cent. Uploading the X archive costs nothing. - At a plan's limit, work pauses where it stopped and carries on after an upgrade (the price difference is charged), a renewal or, on a yearly plan, the next month. PrunePosts remembers the posts it has read and checked, so none is read or paid for twice. - Unused usage can be refunded within 14 days of paying. No per-day pricing. - Page: [Pricing](https://pruneposts.com/pricing/) ## Privacy: what is stored - The X archive is opened in the user's browser; only the posts files (tweets.js or tweet.js, plus account details) are uploaded. Direct messages, photos and videos never leave the computer. - PrunePosts stores the user's posts to show and delete them, and the X sign-in, encrypted. - Post text is sent to an AI model only to be checked. PrunePosts never uses posts to train AI. - X receives only the delete requests the user approves. - When a post is deleted, PrunePosts erases its copy, as X's developer policy requires. Signing out can erase all of the user's data. ## How it compares (vendors' own pages, checked 2026-10-22) - Redact: on-device "Offensive Classification" AI filter for posts likely to read as offensive; free plan covers the last 30 days; Premium $95.88 a year or $245 lifetime. https://redact.dev/pricing - TweetDelete: keyword, date and type filters, plus a "risk scan" preview whose method isn't stated; free standard mode sees the newest 3,200 tweets; prices shown after sign-in, FAQ says from $3.99 a month. https://tweetdelete.net/faq/ - TweetDeleter: filters, no AI on its pricing page; Advanced about $65.70 a year, Lifetime $99.99; no free deletion. https://tweetdeleter.com/pricing - Circleboom: filters, 50 free deletes a day, Limited plan $12.99 a month paid yearly; a separate checker for one pasted tweet. https://circleboom.com/twitter-management-tool/plans-and-pricing - DeleteOldPosts: AI Smart Delete flags posts matching what the user describes; credit packs from $12 for 100; free upload and review. https://www.deleteoldposts.com/ - Block Party: privacy-settings scan across 12 platforms and bulk cleanup in a browser extension; Personal $8.33 a month billed yearly; no AI review of post text described. https://www.blockpartyapp.com/pricing - Of these six, none says on its own pages that it checks posts against X's published rules. - Cheaper or free options for plain bulk deletion: Cyd's free app (https://cyd.social/pricing), TweetXer's free script (https://github.com/lucahammer/tweetXer), XWipe 5,000 deletes for $99 (https://getxwipe.com/), DeleteX Plus $4.99 a month for 200 deletes (https://deletex.io/). - Page: [Compare tweet deleters](https://pruneposts.com/alternatives/) ## FAQ - How do I delete all my tweets at once? X has no bulk delete. A bulk tool such as PrunePosts deletes them through X's API at 50 every 15 minutes, so 10,000 posts take about two days, and reads the X archive to reach posts older than the newest 3,200. - Can old tweets get my X account suspended? Yes, they can: an old post can be reported for as long as it is up, and X suspends accounts for repeated violations or one severe violation. Deleting later doesn't undo enforcement. - Is PrunePosts free? No. It has no free tier: reading, checking and deleting posts are paid for out of a plan, from $4.99 a month or $49 once. - Is PrunePosts part of X? No. PrunePosts is not affiliated with X Corp. ## All pages - [Home](https://pruneposts.com/): both services, how it works, who it's for, pricing summary, FAQ - [Delete all tweets](https://pruneposts.com/delete-all-tweets/): bulk delete service: what it deletes, filters, speed at X's limit, prices - [AI review: check your tweets against X's rules](https://pruneposts.com/ai-tweet-checker/): the 18 policies, the two AI passes, what a flag shows, what it can't catch, prices - [Delete old tweets beyond 3,200](https://pruneposts.com/delete-old-tweets-archive/): how the X archive upload works and what is uploaded - [Pricing](https://pruneposts.com/pricing/): every plan in US$, what uses your plan, how long deleting takes - [Compare tweet deleters](https://pruneposts.com/alternatives/): PrunePosts vs Redact, TweetDelete, TweetDeleter, Circleboom, DeleteOldPosts and Block Party, with sources - [Guides](https://pruneposts.com/guides/): index of guides - [How to delete all your tweets (2026)](https://pruneposts.com/guides/delete-all-tweets/): X has no bulk delete.
